A Hero’s Monologue (a Rizal-inspired Collection)
To celebrate the 150th birth anniversary of the Philippines’ National Hero, Jose Rizal, Hans Brumann crafted a commemorative jewellery collection. The line takes inspiration from Rizal’s famous novel “Noli Me Tangere.”
After the Masters
Only a designer with a bold mind will place himself at the service of the renowned classic masters of the 20th century art: Picasso, Braque, Matisse, Gris, Miro and Kandinsky. Brumann tasks himself to bring their intent to create the illusion of tri-dimensional subjects by discovering their individual style of visual compositions and re-creating them with his unique power of jewelry design and his intimate understanding of his materials.
Garden Glories, Out of the Woods and Waterworld
In OUT OF THE WOODS Collection, Hans Brumann has found his transcendent correlative in the Philippines hardwood trees: narra, molave and kamagong. He achieves the enduring memento of the artistic ideals that spanned across his large sculptures.
About Hans Brumann
Founded in 1978, Hans Brumann Inc. (HBI) started as a small jewelry shop in Makati that catered to Manila's elite and foreign expatriates. It was an exclusive shop that dealt more on made-to-order items designed by Mr. Hans Brumann, rather than retail purchases.
